How to Use This Template
- Download & Open: Open the
.xlsxfile in Microsoft Excel or upload it to Google Sheets. - Review Pantry Stock: Look through your current kitchen stock and mark existing items as In Stock in the Status column.
- Add Items to Your List: Type in the names of the groceries you need. Use the Category dropdown to group them (e.g., Produce, Dairy, Meat).
- Set Quantities & Prices: Enter the quantity and estimated price per unit. Excel will automatically compute the estimated total cost.
- Shop & Track Spending: As you pick up items at the store, change their status to Bought and fill in the Actual Total column from your receipt.
